not a fan of american idol (the voice ftw!), but this group performance was perfection!
colton’s voice is amazing. i would seriously buy his album, so long as he records “landslide” as a track. his voice is perfection for the song!
elise also does justice to “edge of seventeen”. her voice is like a mini-mini stevie nicks. but not really. nobody can compare to stevie.
i really didn’t like phillip’s part though… but oh well, i’m not a fan of him in general or his very generic voice.
the other two’s performance overshadowed his part though to make it all better.

I want piano lessons for my birthday. Seriously. This is one of my all time favorite songs and it sounds absolutely gorgeous on piano.
JONI MITCHELL’S BLUE - I know every single word to this album, but you would never know that, because I blubber through the entire thing. Also, I find it extremely impossible not to cry when I hear Stevie Nicks’ “Landslide,” especially the lyric: “I’ve been afraid of changing, because I’ve built my life around you.” I think a good test to see if a human is actually a robot/android/cylon is to have them listen to this song lyric and study their reaction. If they don’t cry, you should stab them through the heart. You will find a fusebox.
